Yoga Therapy Training with Manju Jois & Sathu Jois

  • Fusion by M Tomtebogatan 30 Stockholm Sweden (se karta)

We are very happy and honored to invite you to a 5-day Yoga Therapy Training with Manju Jois, supported by Sathu Jois, offering a rare opportunity to study within the living tradition of Ashtanga Yoga.

This immersive training focuses on the therapeutic, healing, and transformative aspects of Ashtanga Yoga — combining asana, breath, mantra, and traditional knowledge into a complete and holistic practice.

Manju Jois is the eldest son of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga, and is recognized worldwide as one of the foremost authorities of the Ashtanga tradition.

Born on November 16, 1944, Manju began his yoga journey at the age of seven, when his father awakened him before dawn each morning to begin his training. By the age of fifteen, he was already teaching alongside his father, beginning a lifelong dedication to the practice and transmission of yoga.

For over five decades, Manju has taught the authentic Mysore method across the world, sharing yoga as a complete system for physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual growth. He is deeply committed to preserving the traditional teachings of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga while making them accessible and healing for modern practitioners. His teaching emphasizes breath, awareness, therapeutic alignment, and the unification of body, mind, and spirit.

Sathu was born into the rich lineage of Ashtanga yoga. As the daughter of Manju Jois and granddaughter of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, she grew up immersed in the practice and philosophy of this profound tradition. Traveling alongside her father to workshops around the world, she absorbed the essence of Ashtanga firsthand and developed her own approach — one that honors the tradition while embracing a welcoming, inclusive and joyful spirit.

Together they continues to transmit this lineage with clarity, compassion, and respect for its roots.
